We’re back talking about the weekly nerdy news including RDJ and his role as Tony Stark, the announcements of new comics and the end of a mini-series, not to mention a couple of movies that came out over the weekend.
Robert Downey JR. Signs on For More Iron Man
Hmmm…. Looks like we will have Robert Downey Jr. back for Avengers 2 and 3.
Weeks ago Joss Whedon said, “I have no intention of making Avengers 2 without him, nor do I think I’ll be called upon to do that. … But I loved working with Robert, and everybody knows he embodied that role in a way no one else can.”
Now it is official (Marvel confirmed) and we have RDJ for two more movies. I guess when you make 1.5 billion from the first movie it is pretty good incentive to make those fans happy with the next two movies.
Avengers 2 is slotted for May 2015.
