Elysium Fires Up Trailer

I do not know if this was planned but last night while I was rewatching District 9, I noticed that they released online the trailer for Neil Blomkap’s upcoming movie Elysium.

The director was originally tapped to helm an adaptation film of the Halo franchise before it was put on indefinite hold and this trailer shows why. The trailer welcomes us to a believable futuristic world with intense action. Blomkamp continues exploring his views of segregation in Elysium as Matt Damon’s character installs illegal hardware onto his body to help break into the heavenly Elysium. Definitely looking forward to this film.
