Spidey’s Battle Begins in this Trailer for Amazing Spider-Man 2

The sequel to Amazing Spider-Man just dropped a trailer for us to droll over. The good news: Spider-Man looks like he just jumped out from the comics; the bad news: the movie doesn’t come out until 2014.

Don’t just take me word for it, swing past the jump to watch for yourself and see a few of my thoughts.

We see a lot of the “new” suit in action and seriously this is the best looking Spidey costume I have ever seen (this coming from a Spider-Man fan). Not to mention, we see the beginning of the Sinister Six with appearance by Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Rhino (Paul Giamatti), and the Green Goblin (who plays him is still a little bit of mystery).

They are all very interesting takes on the villains and I can’t wait to see more of them facing off against Spidey or who else they decide to pull out for this insidious team-up. Especially since they offer a peak at Doc Ock’s arms and the Vulture’s wings with the mysterious man from the end of the first movie.

What fans may want to keep an eye on is that at the end of the trailer pops up with “HIS GREATEST BATTLE BEGINS.” Which may indicate that this may be a two-part movie especially when you consider how many rogues appear.

I cannot wait until next year.
