Toothless Playfully Reveals the How to Train Your Dragon 2 Trailer

One of the CYaN staff’s favorite animated movie of the past few years is DreamWorks Animations’ How to Train Your Dragon. The movie caught us by surprise at how wonderful and mature the story was told.

Today; we’re shown the evolution of the world and story with the full trailer of How to Train Your Dragon 2.

Obviously; after five years the world of Berk has changed including the friendship between Hiccup and Toothless. Their camaraderie is more of a brotherly nature than friends. And what better way to handle brothers than introducing Hiccup’s long, lost mother and her cadre of dragons. So the seriousness is already brewing.

As a trailer; we are not shown many story beats but we are given a lot of fun and comedic moments, especially between Hiccup and Toothless. Nonetheless, the trailer plays up a lot of great moments and I for one cannot wait to see what is up their sleeve.
