Ben Affleck’s Batman Appears

Yesterday, Zack Snyder teased us with an image of the batmobile hidden underneath a tarp and reveal that would be planned for today.

Today, he’s been kind enough to show us something new to his Man of Steel universe.

And there you go, ladies and gentlemen. Here is your first official peak at Ben Affleck as Batman in the upcoming sequel to Man of Steel. I’ll be honest, I make no qualms about my distaste for how Snyder handles his films but this is a simple and effective design. Affleck looks like the oversized, worn-down The Dark Knight Returns version of Batman and it works.

I really hope that Snyder proves me wrong.
