Good morning, internet! Here comes another brand new Cheap Date. For those that are new, what is Cheap Date? It’s for people that may be strapped for cash but still want to partake all the nerdy entertainment that comes out this week, I recommend $30 worth of nerdy entertainment for everyone to be happy with.

Two weeks before the release of the second installment of Starcraft II, Blizzard was gracious enough to bless us with a new trailer for the game.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Costume Updated
Previously Marc Webb tweeted out an image of the eye for Spider-Man’s mask, hinting at it being updated for Amazing Spider-Man 2. There was rumor and speculation that it may hint at a darker Spider-Man, maybe an introduction of the black costume or even Venom. This week, the image of the updated costume hit the internet.

Good morning, multiverse! On this fine Monday morning, we bring you a brand new episode of the Call Yourself A Nerd Podcast. This week; Danny and Ricky talk about some comic book announcements, what we thought of the new Die Hard and Beasts of the Southern Wild, last night’s episode of The Walking Dead, and of course everything that we know about the PS4.
The Game of Thrones S3 Trailer
George R.R. Martin’s series A Song of Ice and Fire explores the dichotomy of the elements in human nature. The show is visually stunning and pulls those elements into the world these characters live, fight, and scheme in.
As I have mentioned the CYaN staff did a 6 month marathon read of the series and we get together and watch the show. We are loving each minute, so you can imagine how jazzed we were when the trailer dropped arrived.
This trailer has so many teasers of story lines from book 3 A Storm of Swords. We see glimpses of Wildlings, dragons in flight as well as a potential unsullied army. The Lannister’s are still moving the pieces on the board and we see more of the aftermath from the battle of Black Water Bay. While none of this was said explicitly, the trailer does help the loyal fan jump to these conclusions.

Mortal Kombat Legacy Ssn 2 Trailer
We talked about it in on today’s episode of the podcast, but I think everyone should take a look at the trailer for themselves. Kevin Tancharoen is back at it with season 2 of Mortal Kombat Legacy. It looks like there’s been some re-casting and an upgrade in graphics. Take a look for yourself.
