Arkham Origins Multiplayer
I’m a little behind on some of this news but gotta mention it. WB Games has revealed the online multiplayer aspect of Batman: Arkham Origins. Take a look at the video!
I’ve loved the Arkham games, but I’ve always felt they’ve been missing multiplayer. I understood due to the story of Asylum, Batman running solo made sense. With City, I thought a cooperative mode could have been worked in. Now with Origin, we’re finally getting some kind of multiplayer element aside from leaderboards attached to challenges (not my cup of tea). So we’ve got two teams of three facing off with each while also working against the Dynamic Duo. I am just as excited about playing as Batman/Robin as I am about playing against them. I’m curious if we’ll be able to play the gang leaders (Bane/Joker in the video) or if those are NPCs. Any way about it, I am excited!
Look at Halo Spartan Assault
Recently, 343i dropped a new Halo game but it wasn’t the Halo game people have waited for since the end of Halo 4. Instead, 343i partnered with Vanguard Games to create a new downloadable title called Halo Spartan Assault. Check out a little bit of game play and my initial thoughts for the Windows 8 exclusive.
Past the jump lies the video.
August NEW MUSIC
Good morning, wake up and smell the new music!
I have compiled a list of albums that are going to be released this month and may be right up your audible alley. I have included links throughout the description so please take advantage.
Bloc Party – The Nextwave Sessions [EP] (13th)
I was so blown away by their last album that I am going to buy this one the day it comes out. Bloc party has a great energy that bleeds through even the most mellow tracks. They have progressively become one of my favorite bands because of their lyrics and their ability to withstand repeat listens. Read More…
See Something Cool: PostHuman (NSFW)
Featuring a beautiful animation style set in an unknown future, this shorts captures the twisted action and sci-fi spywork that would make a wonderful series in about four and half minutes. Check it out but there is definitely explicit action and nudity so use caution.
This short from colliculiproductions reminded me of Heavy Metal in all the best ways. I definitely would love to see this get expanded into a full series.

See Something Cool: Landfill Harmonic
My jaw dropped the moment I heard the first little bit of music. Cool might not even capture all you need to think of this.
The Landfill Harmonic is a group of children from a Paraguayan slum who play instruments made from recycled materials. This video is a trailer for the documentary which was kickstarted recently.
Interworld
Let’s talk parallel universes for a second.
Let’s say that a very important man in an impeccable suit has his index finger hovering over a huge red button. This button is connected to some very deadly weapons and they are all pointed at the most recent incarnation of Hitler. It is at this moment that a parallel universe is created. In one of the universes the man pushed that button and there is a new divot in the earth’s surface. In the other he chooses peace and puts plan ‘B’ into action. Since you existed in this scenario, now somewhere there is another you! This you will be shaped by his new environment. This you will be slightly different, but essentially the same.
Joey Harker understands this concept better than most because he can Walk between universes and has met the other “hims”. In fact there is a whole fleet of hims! Read More…
